Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Since opening my workshop in 2014, I’ve always been determined to keep doing what I love: creating top-quality, handmade turned products. I use Southern hardwoods that I've either found by searching the Georgia woods or donations from friends. Occasionally I have turned products from sourced, imported exotic woods. I am proud to deliver pieces that should last for generations.
Please note:
These are hand turned wood bowls. I normally begin by using green wood which is easier to turn. I turn the rough shape and then let it dry for several months. Once dry it is turned again to a piece ready for finishing. I use several coats of finishing oil until it gets that attractive sheen.
